The only thing Trump's Tariffs do is force Americans to pay more for goods, while stuffing the Treasury with the tariff money Trump is collecting.

He spoke to the Russians about US sanctions before Trump was inaugurated.

The he lied to the FBI and was fired and subsequently charged for the lying early in 2017.

He finally made a guilty plea last December and it's taking a year to sentence him.

He has been Cooperating with Mueller.

I wonder what the cooperation was to lead to this sentencing.

If Trump directed him to talk sanctions with Russia before the inauguration, it would be a violation of the Logan Act - an impeachable offense.

what he lied about what a discussion with the Russians post election, pre inauguration which is entirely legal. He should not have lied about it though.

I 100% agree which is why I outlined the above. I think Republicans are currently losing by taking unpopular stances on race and gender with the changing demographics. To be competitive in the future, I am proposing they scrap what they're doing now and go back to economic arguments instead of angering young people, POC, and women. I don't think young folks today will get more conservative as they age if the party stays where it is at on race and gender.

In your opinion, what is the current Republican platform on race and gender?

If Trump was directing Flynn to make a deal with Russia as a representative of the US before he was inaugurated, that is not legal.
