In the increasingly unlikely event that we ever see the actual Epstein files, it is also unlikely that there will be anything in them that would rise to the evidentiary level that would have resulted in criminal charges being filed against Trump (or anyone else, for that matter). We can deduce that NOT from the stupid slogan that "Biden would have released them if they were bad," but from the fact that law enforcement and prosecutors did a thorough investigation year ago and never charged anyone except Epstein and Maxwell. Beyond a reasonable doubt is a very high and rigidly enforced legal standard. Prince Andrew and Alan Dershowitz never got charged and we all know they committed sex crimes with Epstein.

What we would see in the Epstein files is a LOT of highly embarrassing and creepy sexual behavior attributable to Trump. We can easily deduce that from Trump's behavior toward the Epstein files themselves:

(1) having his Attorney General (childless Pam Bondo) reverse her decision to release the Epstein files on her desk after she alerted him to, amongst many other things, the Trump birthday letter to Epstein,

(2) his frightened, bogus lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal pretending he didn't author the Epstein birthday letter,

(3) the bogus, distractionary motions to unseal irrelevant grand jury testimony as if that were equivalent to releasing the actual files,

(4) stunts like having his criminal defense lawyer interview Maxwell,

(5) starting the meme that the Epstein files are a hoax,

(6) starting the meme and pretending that Clinton, Obama and Biden manufactured the Epstein files to nail Trump, and, of course,

(7) not simply releasing the fvcking files when he made a big deal of promising that he would release them.

In other words, the stuff in the Epstein files is so embarrassing for Trump that he's made the strategic decision that it's better to look like he's covering up stuff -- which he most certainly and obviously is -- than to actually have the stuff made public. Yeah, it's that fvcking bad, and every MAGA on this board knows it.

Keep it up. No one will vote for a party that buries human lives under a pile of statistics.

Man, you are a seriously internally conflicted person. Angry at Trump for supporting Israel in the Gaza war, but still desperately need to defend him.

Now the 150 or so cops that maga beat up were the instigators of violence after the maga mob WENT TO THE CAPITOL where the police were and overran the fence line. But you support a military police force with face masks and without visible badges, warrants or probable cause taking over American cities.

This must be why maga is so angry. The aren't allowed to have a consistent set of beliefs or morals and still be allowed in maga. It is an entire belief system of contradictions. I feel for you. The best solution is to think for yourself. It will be liberating for you.

This is a prime example of not understanding correlation versus causation. Large population centers vote mostly democratic because people are exposed to other people and other cultures, and are generally more liberal in their thinking. Those same large population centers having more crime is common sense because there are more people. When comparing per capita, it's a different story. The notion that crime is high because large cities are democratically run is ignorant and shows the lack of understanding correlation and causation. It's also interesting that Gavin Newsom is held responsible for everything that happens in every city in California but the republican governors, in the states where crime is higher in their cities, get a pass and it suddenly becomes the mayors fault. How convenient.

Republicans are afraid of Harvard and Columbia and other institutes of higher learning because the smarter the electorate gets, the less likely they are to fall for the bullsh!t they are selling.

Well, the Maxwell trial including the appeals process was ongoing until 2024. I know it sounds crazy to Trumpers, but the Biden admin at least tried to maintain the appearance of an independent justice department. Naked corruption is the norm with you guys, but the standard for decades has generally been that the executive branch should not interfere with the justice department. Merrick Garland in particular as AG was terrified of appearing overly partisan, so it's not surprising at all that nothing happened during the Biden admin to implicate Trump with regard to Epstein.
