At just shy of eight months into DJT's second term I will say I am impressed by the speed at which he's moving. This speed has made certain one thing in my mind: there will be no escaping the reality that on the other side of this life will be objectively worse for all Americans. I genuinely didn't think they'd be able to shatter this many legal guardrails, destroy this much international soft diplomacy, erode this much of our international economic good standing, decimate public health, drain public education, send commerce running for the hills, militarize our streets, run up the deficit, and turn every official government office like a high school meme generator so quickly. All of our lives will be different for the worse once whatever's happening rolls through. Heartwarming to see all the kids who can't read have a turn at being heard.

You are looking at it through the wrong lense. We have Alligator Alcatraz. We have citizens conscious of the fact that they might have to bow down to the unidentified masked man with the rifle if they are in the wrong place with the wrong skin tone We have sent a clear message to every elite University and every black mayor of a major city that there's a new sheriff in town and he don't have to follow no damn law. Most importantly, we have millions of hate-filled losers who look at these events and genuinely take them as signs that America is back.
