This is a bit unrelated, but did you know that Ferrari makes a $75,000 profit on each car it sells? I think Porsche makes about a $20,000 profit. But or Ferrari to make that much just blew me away.

B&H doing well. Contrary to what Igy says, Amazon will do well over the coming year. I bought another chunk of it yesterday, and added it to what I already had. It was one of the few things I didn’t sell before I left, and I plan to hold it for a long while. It is also in my b&h, to the tune of 10%.

AMZN currently trades at an 89 PE at $2,047/share. Even if earnings stay the same in a recession and apply a historic market multiple of 15.5 times $23.01 EPS gives you a fair value of $356. Using a blended multiple of competitors WMT and MSFT doesn’t get you much over $500. So it’s a bubble favorite, Bubble pops and the stock eats a big one.

Thanks. Actually the best car I have ever owned. I have replaced engine mounts, struts, fuel pump, and timing belt. The rest of the maintenance has been general, brakes, oil, radiator, and transmission flush. Truly drives like new. At the time it was a higher end Acura.

Agip - I actually have an 2003 or 2004 Acura TL 3.2 (among others) which I routinely drive. I love it! it only has about 70,000 miles and drives so beautifully!
