It is very hard to find a stopping place when the stopping point of the runner is largely unknown. Maybe they got lucky and she was able to make it to that barn. The typical stopping places for Mimi's RV have been in fields and other properties where an owner is not around. But somewhere days ago Mimi crew did stop at a private home and must have been invited.

It wasn't only us here on LRC who were concerned about her. The comments on Facebook were also expressing alarm. Tim assured everyone she was fine, just "bendy". I have my doubts.

My personal opinion is that Tim is forcing her to keep running. He is more interested in the money opportunities than in Mimi's health.

Just got around to watching the video. If you read the comments her own family (same surnames etc) are posting concerned queries - one asks "why is she leaning to the left?" Another asks if she "is ok"
Whatever about the whole stunt- I'm actually seriously concerned for her well being at this point.

- Provide video of a dodgy armswing - it's been staged and edited. They must have got her to run funny when they did that so that when they take the easy route on faking cadence data, someone can point at it and say here's why the cadence may not be correct.
You seem to have got a bit carried away with trying to prove this is being faked. The internal logic and consistency of your own arguments is weak.
People who cheat don't go to these kind of extremes - they find easier challenges that aren't going to be heavily scrutinised.

Markus - I generally agree that Mimi's attempt is honest. Could Mimi be cheating in all of this? Quite possibly. But I'm not seeing strong evidence for it. I can see explanations for what's gone on so far. There's not been any particular requirement to overstretch the imagination as usually happens with cheats and scammers.
I'm just glad I haven't got anyone scrutinising my training. Over five years of using a GPS, I've seen it produce erratic heart-rate numbers and erratic cadences while running at a consistent speed. For a while last year, it intermittently locked into recording a speed of 1:50/mile for shortish periods of time. Sometimes 30-secs, sometimes shorter, sometimes a little longer. On one occasion, I was jogging at 9-10min/mile along a road that I've run along hundreds of times previously. It began to happen so often that I checked the satellites were still locked in which they were. A km up the road it went back to normal numbers. To someone wanting to doubt me that would be great evidence except I'm not trying to prove myself to anyone or make any outlandish claims. These things aren't infallible.

I don't know about my credibility but it seems like having realistic cadence data should not be too much to ask for in world record evidence instead of the garbage cadence data we get from Mimi.
If you are referring to the lesser swing in Mimi's left arm compared to her right arm as your evidence, yes she does swing her left arm less than her right arm but the swing is there.
There is some thing you haven't considered, Mimi wears two watches at all times, one on each arm. That's why we get heart rate data some times and other times not. We can also see which watch her cadence data comes from by checking the bottom of her Movescount pages. For example, here are two of her Moves, one from the Suunto Spartan Sports the other from the Ultra that doesn't have the monitor. Yet both show the same garbage random cadence data. Why is that? Why are watches from separate arms on her showing the same crappy cadence if your explanation of the left arm swing is too be believed? Or would you have me believe that Mimi and her team are always swapping watches between arms and choose only to upload from the left arm?

There have been some instances where Mimi's team has uploaded the data from the watches on both her left AND right arm for the same run as can be seen by the time stamps and then being marked as group activities. You can see that the cadence data from both the left and right arm are largely identical and both exhibit the same crappy cadence so the left arm video argument is essentially not an explanation at all.
