Apparently it's acceptable for Trump to take a 10% share of Intel for the government (controlling means of production?), but if Mamdani wants NYC to invest in a grocery store where there isn't one, that's communism.
Just about everything Republicans fearmongered that Obama would do is happening under Trump: federal agents & soldiers in the streets demanding to see your papers, prison camps, illegal renditions, the government taking control of corporations, showing weakness to Russia & China. It’s all happening, and all it took was for Trump to say it was his idea.

That was one of the losing arguments Democrats made in 2024. Sure, the investor class is doing well. Meanwhile prices are up for food, diesel, heating oil, and other things that people need. Jobs market is flat or down.
MAGA runs the risk of making the same mistake Democrats made -- crowing about a good economy that's actually only good for the well off.
