For one example look how the former head of UK Sport,who got honoured by the Queen and is now a Baroness ,refused to allow her staff to reply to Dr Davis’s paper.A paper that demonstrated huge problems with the way the test was done compared with the way Prof Cowen told the hearing.
Not least of these problems was the hacksawing of the sample to open it and the absence of calibration data.
Baroness Sue Campbell is now head of women’s football at the English FA.
As a total coincidence the FA provide the biggest number of samples for Prof Cowen to analyse and have done so for several decades.

Almost; but in the Edwards case something strange happened.
The A sample went missing but within this missing time it was reported to have badly leaked but then the Lab mysteriously found urine from someone else.
The B sample was opened by a hacksaw;yes a hacksaw!
I think a central problem,and one the latest Rio story illustrates, is that to conduct tests that comply with full forensic principles is rather expensive.
They could not admit the problems with the Edwards case because it brings the whole system into disrepute.
We then find out how simple is was for the authorities to create totally unreliable results in Sochi.

Yes WADA have known for decades how to open the sample bottles without breaking the seal and thus being able to close it again without anyone noticing.

This is the case in the Edwards case were vital evidence was persistently hidden despite having to use the courts to get it disclosed.

Actually you sound more like LA. Denying written proof and admission by the authorities that the chain of custody and testing were invalid.
