The race has begun

Div III runner Ian LaMere is in 11th and having a great race, very consistent splits. LaMere just graduated this year, and won the D3 10,000. He ran I think the second fastest 10K in D3 history last year as a junior, but had some injury issues.

A bit further behind is Johnny Crain, who also graduated D3 a couple years ago, ran the US Championships last year, and had his best race probably in the Half Marathon championships.

4to go and mead and Chelanga surge and Galen looked incredible in respondindg immediately. Rupp 's got this.

And just sas I say that, RUpp is now pulling a farah and leading with 3 to go.

No one is beating him.

Rupp with 3 to go pushed it for about 200 but then he backed off. Bunched back up 2 to go.
