Awesome. Thanks.
No, no, he meant on these boards!

The whole season came down to the second Eagles Cowboys game.
If the Eagles won that game, the Eagles would have won the division at 11-5 with a sweep over Dallas while the Cowboys would have missed the playoffs at 11-5 because the Cardinals and Lions had the tie breaker over them.
In that game the Eagles botched the opening kickoff giving the Cowboys a short field for a quick TD.
Then the Cowboys put up two more TDs to take a 21-0 lead.
Then the Eagles scored 24 straight points to take the lead by the 3rd quarter.
Then Dez Bryant and a big run from Murray torched the Eagles D for a TD and took the lead back. 28-24.
With a chance to get the lead back, Sanchez throws a floater that gets picked off near mid field. Dez Bryant torches them again fora TD making the lead 11 points.
Eagles get a FG to come with 8 points then held Dallas to a 3 and out.
With a chance to possibly tie the game or come withing a point, the Eagles made a big first down play to their tight end Celek. The ball popped out after he was brought down and Dallas recovered it. Dallas challenged the play and it showed that Celek was brought down on top of a Cowboy and wasn't touching the ground so the call was reversed and called a fumble and turnover (which was correct).
Then Dallas tacked on a FG to put the lead back to 11 and the final score held at 38-27.
Two pretty fluky turnovers with the short opening kickoff and the tackle on top of a defender were huge in this game.
But there it is. That's the difference between either the Cowboys or the Eagles being in the playoffs right now and the other one being done for the year.
The main difference in their record is that the Cowboys beat the Seahawks while the Eagles lost to them.
The Cowboys clearly deserved the playoffs, just showing how close they were to missing it.

Yes and with the division title within reach they got their asses handed to them by Washington. I think it's safer to say they Thanksgiving day game was an anomoly for reasons posted multiple times in this thread. Philadelphia would have been a better team with a QB the caliber of Romo but instead they have Cousins and Sanchez and that is why their season is over.
Cousins?

touche', I was thinking of the spare QB before Foles. Either way the Philly QBs are sparing us to death.

Yes Wilson is shaping up to one of the GOAT. No one can scramble the way he does. And before anyone says its just because he is surrounded by a great defense protecting him just look at what he did with yesterday's touch down run with that little fake to send the defender the wrong way, before stepping into the end zone. He represents the future of QBing. He can do it all, he can throw, create plays when you think none exist and yes he can do it all by himself and Usain Bolt sprint to get a touch down.
Wilson didn't make the Pro Bowl & many on here argued that the Pro Bowl nomination doesn't matter. Well, he didn't make the All-Pro team either
.
"When historians and researchers study an NFL player's career, it's not the number of Pro Bowl selections that carry the most weight. Landing a spot on the All-Pro first team has always been more prestigious, as well as a more accurate sign of a player's value during that season."
Wilson didn't make the All-Pro first or second team. Heck, he didn't even get one vote. So how is that Greatest Of All Time status holding up?
Quarterback
First team: Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay, 44.
Second team: Tony Romo, Dallas, 3.
Others receiving votes: Tom Brady, New England, 2; Andrew Luck, Indianapolis, 1.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000452986/article/2014-allpro-teamsI wouldn't read too much into that. Wilson had a few sub-par games in the middle of the season. Folks don't think he's having a "great" year. He's actually got about 100 yards more passing and 300+ more rushing than he did last year, when he was elected to the pro bowl. Plus two fewer ints. The problem is fewer td passes than last year -- his receiver corps isn't great, and losing Tate seems to have hurt more than one would expect.
The guys who made the team mostly are in more pass-happy offenses. That's to be expected.
If Wilson is a GOAT (or close to it), his legend will come from playoff and championship wins. Seattle simply doesn't play the style offense that puts him into a stats comparison with anyone like Rodgers, Luck, etc.
Detroit will beat the cow girls. Then Jerry and co. can be seen scowling on national TV again.
The All Pro votes basically say Rodgers is #1 and everyone else is second.

I respect the fact that you can rationalize with yourself to support your team, but the Eagles were garbage. It was covered up by them getting so many special teams and defensive touchdowns throughout the first half of the season. They couldn't run the ball, couldn't defend the pass, and were inconsistent at QB with both Foles and Sanchez.
It's time. 80,000 screaming fans. Down 7-0. No pressure.

It doesn't matter if the Lions have the best run defense, that offensive line is too good for anyone to stop without loading the box and allowing those receivers to get 1 on 1. Hence, 40+ points per game lately.
Not to mention Lacy was able to get free a number of times in the lions game
Nice call a-hole! Hahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahaahahahahahaahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahhahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Wow, the Lions are getting so lucky.
The JerryWorld 2014-2015 curse continues....down 14-0. Heading toward a 4-5 record at home, versus 8-0 on the road? Stay tuned!
The Boys are over matched. Interesting TV coverage with Troy calling the game.
3 pro bowlers on the offensive line folks!

Both sides, actually. They totally missed that pass interference call when the Lions were driving at the end of the half.
If Romo were a Native American, his name would be Holds-Ball-Long-Time.
