Right.....
Right.....
Alright, new subject...early predictions of individual top 10 at nationals this year...Does Bauhs easily win, or will Kirwa put up an awesome fight? The top ten will be an awesome race to watch!!!
1. Bauhs/ Kirwa
2. Kirwa/ Bauhs
3. Braun
4. Adams kenyan
5. ACU Kenyan
6. Kosgei
7. ACU Kenyan
8. Pennel
9. Medigovich
10. Donnan
It's going to be a great battle up front.
Teams
ACU- Front guy's run to well for Adams to make up on depth
Adams- Without a doubt has a chance to win. Will need Wagnew and McNiff to step up big time though.
Harding- They have the front power close to ACU and are deeper. If Kern runs well they have a shot to win. Right now he's too far back for them to contend.
Western- Rassmusen, Brown and Ahonen repeat western's history of having no names step up and put away the western haters till next season.
Chico- Great 1, good 2. The 3,4,5 will run well but they can't be expected to run well enough to beat any of the other four teams.
Agree, disagree, this is the way I see it. Good luck to all, and enjoy the season at the end of the race no matter the outcome!

nice work, no way to please the d-bags on the boards, but where did umass lowell come from?
Gasore gets in the top 10 for sure this year(he a sr?)
Also, with Kazingo 7thin the 10k last year, I'd put him closer in the top 20.
I'd also put alaksa into the top 5 and of course we'll have a better idea after this weekend, but Mines and Western should be racing eachother the next 6 weeks pretty closely.
I actually got a similar result to you when making my predictions.

These predictions are sort of accurate, but Queens and Lowell Are too high. You guys are obviously from the east and have too much time on your hands. Try something closer to the ustfccca predictions, they are actually right on.
who is your WWU guy?
I feel like the people that ranked the individual top sixty only looked at times from races and not the difficulty of each course. All those people that ran fast courses this year are going to get an ass whopping from the schools who ran harder hillier courses.
Basically I think the people that ranked umass and queens in the top seven are going to have a rude awakening come nationals.
this is a interesting post. haha
I dont know every one in here but ill say its not to[/quote]
Wow chill out. I meant to say its not to bad of a Prediction. I must of accidentally erased the end
I think people are greatly underestimating the Alaska Anchorage team. They are top 4 contenders IMHO.
Your missing word bad ended up at the top of the post. Weird.
I think A Anchorage definitely has a shot at top 5, top 4 if they can handle Bauhs and the Chico Boys. I think the rankers are just giving their respects to the previous boys in the top 10 last year aka Western and Mines.
Grand Valley vs. Lowell
who will Win?
WWU has Bennett Grimes, and all-american last year as an RS-freshman, and Jordan Welling, who has PR's of 14:36 and 30:30 or something like that on the track.
Looking at their meets, both of them ran sub 32 at their home meet course, only getting edged by last years regional champion. Don't know what that course is like but that seems good, and compared to times in years past it is exceptionally good.
Those 2 guys should be in the top 40.
Western will be a top 5 team at nationals. Many other teams will run well during the season but Western always steps it up at the big one. Weather will be a factor in November that will add to their success. They are already dealing with lows in the 10-15 degree range and highs in the 30's- 40's. Most of the Kenyans will not run well in bad weather.
well im pretty sure that the alaska anchorage coach is the one who does the rankings so he just has them ranked lower than they really are
