So she walked two and a half hours, took a very long nap, walked 15 minutes to a nice cafe, ate a leisurely lunch with a bottle of wine, then took a three hour stroll to the finish line?

Nope - Pitter pattered to a DFL 12 hour marathon. Yelled at course volunteers who pleaded with her to quit. They had to stand out there and wait 4 extra hours after the next closest finisher. That's right - the 3rd to last person finished in 8:20:34. So selfish.
She may have received a finishing time, but she missed the 20 mile mat.

Is it even possible to walk 28 minutes per mile after averaging 25 minutes per mile for the first half?

No, they didn't have to wait for her. They could have told her to fvck off. Blame the RD, not her. The race should have had posted cutoff times. Most do.
BTW who cares. What does this have to do with anything real regarding running of a marathon? The runners were not impacted by this in any way.
