Outside of the 2024 Olympics, it doesn't look like 2024 was a great year for Djokovic. A quick google search shows he started with a "mystery illness" and ended with "on-going injury".

I'm a much bigger fan of Federer. He's just way more charismatic and likeable and his play has much more style and elegance and breadth and intelligence and was always enjoyable to watch.

Djokovic exercised his medical autonomy and he chose not to vaccinate, and this delayed his reaching some of these new milestones by years. (This pause in play also likely prolonged his career by the same couple years, as his body recovered from constant tournaments.) No one forced him to vaccinate, but society also has the right to decide who is a risk to society, and Djokovic was considered a walking health risk to the other players, tennis staff, journalists, photographers, and the general public, due to his own choices. He knew the rules and the consequences of his actions.
I don't know what this thread is about. Djokovic was never banned. Everyone made their choices and got what they wanted.

There’s no debating who the GOAT tennis player is. What a performance. 38 year olds shouldn’t be this great.
Off the top of my head, there have only been about 6-7 guys in history to make the semis in the AO, French and Wimbledon in the same year. Even fewer since they went to three different surfaces.
We just witnessed a 38 year old do it. Incredible! 38! (He’s also done this 7 different years - more than #2 and #3 combined).
