What is going on with the Hauser brothers (specifically Will Hauser). They haven’t been in many meets as of recent. Will Hauser hasn’t even raced all season, and this has been a thing since last season. Will ran Dublin last track season and then just disappeared and then runs 15:02 during xc. Then, Will is suddenly gone again.

He’s going to Cornell to for XC/TF. He’s probably chilling.
Well yeah Ik that much, but I feel like if Will was in the track more often- he’d have a lot more faster times than his 5k or is implying. A 15:02 only being #2 on your team is insane (right behind a guy who goes 14:40, 8:50, and runs 4:10 flat). I’m just Will could honestly be at least 5 seconds behind Landon or just up there with him if we just saw him on the track more often.

Rumor in the area is team drama involving their coach who got fired/left. no clue how true it is. I know for a fact that the menlo guys read this thread so maybe they can chime in.
Brandon Arrington outdoor 100/200 opener at a dual meet today, 10.35 and 20.65 legal
Jack Stadlman made his return outdoors (reportedly dealing with a combination of sickness and college visits), running 10.54 and 21.10 legal at a dual meet today.
Mattheo LaCasia, Woodside-CCS, came out for his first year of track this year. He ran 48.88 in his first ever 400 a few days ago. Keep an eye on him.
Freshman phenom Jasir Fontenot ran 14.00 over 110mh a week ago. He ran 13.65 wind-legal last year over 39-inch hurdles (yes, you read that correctly!)
Journey Cole - Redondo Union, state leader, 11.48/23.86 season openers. Need I say more?
Watch out for Canyon - as of last week, 3 girls under 56 seconds in the 400, with a fourth girl running 12.03 in the 100m. Will certainly challenge Wilson and Poly for the 4x400 crown this year.

I care about sprints!
Arrington's results on Athletic(dot)net show NWI on his recent marks, are you sure they're legal?
Stadlman seems pretty interesting for sure. I expect him to run sub 21 easily.
LaCasia is impressive. Seems that he is mainly a soccer player who decided to come out for track this year, so no surprise to me that he is fast. He plays for a club team in the area
And 13.6 by a 14 year old is nuts. Wonder if he'll break Jadyn Marshall's state (I think?) record

> Re Arrington
Yes.
> Re Stadlman
Yes, he should be in 20.7 territory by the end of the season. Guy is strong as hell. Sick or not, only 21.1 as a 45.6 guy suggests he has a lot more in the tank. I feel presumptuous saying it but sub 45 should be in the cards in 2 months.
> Re Jasir
Yeah, I think he will. Could be as soon as next year at this point.
Leo Francis, Santa Margarita, 10.57/21.17 legal at OC championships
Keep an eye on Long Beach Poly girls. 4 girls sub 12 already. Wind illegal for most of them, but still impressive.
Long Beach Poly boys 40.90, Rancho C 40.91, El Cerrito 41.05. Far and away the most teams I have ever seen under 41 at this point in the season. 40.2 or faster for one of these teams would not surprise me at all come Arcadia.
Long Beach Wilson 3:39.60 at Texas relays. Excellent time.
Now perhaps the biggest one of the day (so far) - 4 California teams, Culver City, Central, Servite, and Long Beach Wilson go 1-2-3-4 at the Texas Relays 4x400. 3:10, 3:12 (team of all underclassmen BTW), 3:13, and 3:14. Truly unbelievable. Assuming all teams stay healthy, it could take something historic to win the state meet this year.

IDK about sub 44, but I think he has a good chance of breaking Norman's state record. It'd be fun to see him go against Arrington too
