What's quite sad is you can watch his updates and find it impressive (which I genuinely do) but then his obnoxious fanbase just makes the whole thing so off-putting. I totally respect the effort, good on him. But if you're going to make outlandish claims then the very least you should expect is for experts in the field to hold you to account. The guy has done incredibly well by everyday runner standards, he's just nowhere near the standard he claimed - that's all. People here have every right to question him for that, and if you're fawning over the bloke and defending him at all costs (or attacking the people who predicted this inevitable outcome), to be honest I think you're just pretty weird. Same goes for fans of Goodge and all the other insincere, fame-hungry, quasi runners out there - if you're simping for them, I don't think you're really a fan of the sport, you've just been conned by marketers. Anyway, hats off to Nedd for the effort, and hopefully it'll make people respect the greats of multi day distance running even more
