For the most part, MileSplit is very up-to-date in terms of college commitments. A lot of athletes also add it to their profile themselves, including those that are playing solely football. Considering they cover the sport at the high school level closer than anyone else, it's silly to "never trust these people" when very few people cover the sport like they do.
