IOWA CITY, IA - Iowa vs IndianaWritten by John Bohenkamp | FanNationIt would have been easy to stay at home — the game was televised nationally by FOX. But ...
My understanding is that the Women’s NCAA Softball Tournament is the only “ball & stick” sport where the women’s ratings are comparable to the men’s (NCAA baseball) ratings for a similar level.
Women’s Volleyball and softball are great. Basketball not so much.
So the LSU Super team lost for the second time, and this one is much worse than the first. (Auburn was 0-3 in SEC before the game.)
Am I the only one who thinks this team simply does not have good enough team chemistry to be great?
How is the Van Lith girl this season? I know that she has a mega social media following and makes really good NIL coin by female athlete standards. I don't know as much about her actual game skills though other than she was a big shot in high school.
One of her signed basketball cards is being auctioned right now and bidding looks to be at $18,000 already (although social media reports say its at $21,600) and there are still six days to go. This is far more than any womens basketball card has ever sold for. Feel free to drop a bid if interested...
My guess is no! The stands are all empty. It’s comical. Yet espn wants to promote womens basketball to no end. Kinda sad. Women play inferior basketball to men and the games are boring
booooo
Seems like a lot of people go see Iowa. My BIL and sister watch every Iowa game that they can. Neither has any connection and I don't think either has even been to Iowa.
Lots of sports that I don't watch but others do and I am glad that we have so many options that more sports can be watched. Heck I bet an Iowa women's game gets better ratings than the vast majority of non-Olympic track telecasts.

South Carolina’s 76-71 road win over LSU averaged 1.555 million viewers on ESPN, good for the second-most-watched regular season game for the sport since 2010. The lone game ahead of it was Ohio State-Iowa last weekend on NBC.
