I hope people take this Labor Day weekend to reflect on the good that real WORK does for the self and society, wherein the extra day off is NOT just to relax but to gain extra energy for the work week ahead. We are called to earn the fruits of our labor, not for rewards to simply be handed to us. Capitalism and Competition are kin to each other, for each demands dedication.
Tis fall, and such is the season of harvest and reflection. As we round out another year, and the world is facing a multitude of challenges, I have taken the time to reflect on my last year of running and the foreseeable future of said running.
My take is this: the state of my running is strong. I will assist those who are in need of assistance, but get in my way and face my wrath therein.
Whereas I do not have any enemies per say, but I will defend myself when it is necessary.

I sympathize with your frustration tho I do not have any such advice for you, for my expertise is in the areas of running and my work at Booz (of which I cannot divulge here). My “deal,” as it were, is that I am an Ivy League graduate, and have created a strong personal and professional life for myself. To say I am proud of such is a vast understatment (sic).
