I am concerned for Elise Cooper. Very talented high school sprinter. Is she still attending? This mass exodus does not bode well for her. I think the major coaching changes at Texas indicates that environment was not productive or positive.

I was thinking about Elise Cooper as well. I just need to know what is really going on. At this point, it appears to be a Coach Floreal issue! I really dislike to make an assumption but what else could it be?
Big one incoming!

3 weeks ago 90% of Oregon sprint, hurdle and jumpers were called into a meeting and told to enter the portal and their spot on the team in the 45 man roster was not guaranteed. Some were told they may have a spot on the team in July but obviously most will not back on the roster
Whoa! Unfortunately, what is happening in Oregon is going to be the norm for many schools for quite some time.

Isaiah Patrick South Plains College to Alabama. 110 Hurdles PR 13.58

I didn’t see that coming. USC has done such a good job developing 100 meter sprinters.

Oh man. I was not expecting that.

Wonder if Floreal met with those sprinters/hurdlers and told them to enter the portal, the way Oregon told their sprint/jump/hurdles group?
I seriously doubt that Floreal requested for Akala Garrett to get into the portal. She is now the #1 400H in the NCAA.

Jassani. Carter, Kalia Jackson, Adaejah. Hodge (World Junior Champion who Redshirted this Season) Dejanna. Oakley, Lisa Raye (Signed with Georgia,) Aaliyah. Butler. I wonder if Georgia will have a Good 4 x 100 Relay Next Year? LOL
SEC Seems to be getting LOTS of Good Through the Transfer Portal, Signing Recruits etc. SEC looks ready to be the best Conference for Sprinters for at least The Next 3 Years, Other Conferences need to step up and Compete harder to get all these Sprinters, SEC almost has a Monopoly on Sprinters, I Know USC (The one in California) TCU, and a cople of other schools are still trying, But The SEC seems to have more Sprinters, Than the rest of the NCAA combined.

South Carolina is loading up, also landing the girl from Lenoir Rhyne who ran 10.8. I wonder what her NIL package was?

That gives A&M presumably the 4x100 favorites along with USC and TCU. A&M will have Jasmine Montgomery, Camryn Dickson, Ariane Linton, as well as incoming freshman Taylor Nunez…
Might wanna check what South Carolina will have. I believe they now have 3 sub 11 girls.
Definitely have to change my statement! Gonna be some fun battles in the SEC between A&M, South Carolina, and Georgia! I’m sure LSU will be strong as well
Peyton Bair in the portal!
