As I predicted moments ago, here we see a resident Right winger doing what I said would happen. They will claim that because they are forbidden from seeing what is classified then it is all a big fraud and a nothing burger. It is just too predictable.
They believe their beloved Trump over every other source because they have been conditioned to do so.
Trump is an interesting study in the criminal mind. He has to be smart in some way? He has avoided jail time like nobody, even before he was pres. At the same time, he is spouting off everything under the sun about the search, surely driving his lawyers insane. And then today!! It comes out that he put 2 or 3 passports (actual passports, not a heating bill, or dry cleaning receipt) in a drawer WITH the some top secret docs! That is priceless! He literally did the FBIs job for them...linking him directly to known possession of the docs. This may be what gets him in the end. He cant really claim to not know anymore. I wonder if the FBI has ever searched for evidence and found it... along with a picture ID stored right with the evidence!!!

You are right. It defies logic to see what a klutz he is and still escape trouble. there are a couple of theories out there on that...
1. He was a govt informant on the Mob. That would explain they way he escaped punishment while all around him his mob connections went down. Many government informants are never revealed. So the only way that would ever come out is if Trump revealed it. this would explain pre-presidential escaping of criminal justice and post presidential.
2. It is also known that the US does not like to charge its Presidents if at all possible. In addition, if the decision is to charge it must be bullet proof. Prosecutors don't like to charge unless they have a sure thing. Now multiply that by a thousand with indicting a President of the US.
We are getting closer to the point where the DOJ will simply need to open a prison door and Trump will just walk in...
Today Trump is again angry that people saw a pic of the files out of the box and on the floor. He says many will attest that he does not leave them there. His lawyer reiterated that many are in that same room and can prove it as well. Ooopsie!
I wonder if someone sat Trump down and showed him how difficult it is to take a picture of classified files in a box vs laid out on the floor, maybe he would stop incriminating himself. Or maybe spell it out in crayons?

Trump's proven winning formula is that he knows he only needs to sell himself to his target audience - the faithful half wits and conspiracy theorists who will believe anything he says and those who know he is lying, but have a vested interest in also pushing his agenda, so back him up.
