This is an excellent point. I hear many Trumpers say, "the Democrat Party is not the party your parents knew, it's not the party of JFK", when the truth is that the Republican party has changed drastically more than the Democrats.
In aggregate, the Democratic Party is center left. They try to keep the extreme lefties in the party in check. Biden's policies have been very centrist. Obama's were too. Harris is voicing similar positions. None of these people are advocating for communism or true socialism.
Over the past 10+ years the GOP has been forcing out the center right members of the party. It started with the Tea Party movement and has progressed through the Trump era to the point that the extremists are the party. They are in change and there is no middle ground. No one else is accepted.

I’m a long time registered Democrat and I think the Democrat party has gone even more insane. Especially in the city I live in - the Soros DA basically campaigned on not punishing criminals and crime massively spiked in 2015. She was onpy voted out in 2022 because she was too insane even for the welfare queens who’d vote for her otherwise

I do remember Trump embarrassing himself in 2020 when he debated Biden. And 4 years later, 4 years older, and pushing 80, he's only gone downhill.

She's simply unfit for office. She avoids hardball questions because she doesn't have any answers for her terrible policies. Avoids any debates where the narrative can't be controlled. She should stick to Obama impersonations.
Actually, she has one major accomplishment. She helped facilitate the arrival into the US of 12 million illegals, enabling Democrats to have a much larger base of potential voters.
