If the Dems can't come up with something more than "not Trump!", they're in for a disappointing next few years. Anyone who think retaking the House in 2026 is a done deal should really think again: Potential Dem voters who are unenthusiastic will just stay home, and the great majority of MAGAs will go to the polls, no matter what.
As an aside, I think the Dems would be well served by getting Hakeem Jeffries out of the leadership. He is the least inspiring political speaker I've encountered since Al Gore. Even if the Dems somehow do take the House back, Americans will not be behind any policy articulated (using the term loosely) by Hakeem.
IMO it wouldn't hurt their cause to demote Schumer, either.

Today is the real Liberation Day. The import taxes finally kick in with a vengeance. This will restore American jobs, build new factories, lower inflation, end Mexican immigrants, raise wages, and put an end to liberal government meddling in our American capitalist system.
What's beautiful about tariffs is that experts all agree with Trump and the MAGAs that they are a linear-sum game. More is better. There is nothing that a 25% tariff can do that a 50% tariff can't do twice as good. The sky is the limit to our new prosperity.
