This is a fact. He said that. It is also fact that Newsmax may be the most strongly Trump-supporting news outlet with at least its number of viewers (or readers are listeners of other outlets).

Hey, if you want to argue that he’s right, have at it.

It is analysis rather than fact to say that he appears to be softening the ground for a pardon for Maxwell.

So now:

if you agree that he’s right and that she is reasonably likely to be innocent, that’s it.

if you think she is not reasonably likely to be innocent, then why would he say this?

The simplest reasonable answer is that softening the ground for her pardon is done to guard against anyone claiming that any pardon for her would be quid pro quo.

If you think her pardon for her might be quid pro quo, you can decide for yourself why that might be. Some might suggest any number of things. however, she was not offered a pardon by the last administration. and so some people on here might suggest that what’s being protected by quid pro quo are interests of the last administration, or interests spanning multiple administrations.

why didn’t the last administration prosecute wrongdoers? There could be any number of reasons, one of which is that the burden of proof is incredible without Maxwell‘s testimony. they could not, or were not willing to do was necessary, secure Maxwell’s testimony.

Ergo, no indictments.

But at the very least, the last administration did nothing to appease her by offering a pardon.

And if she receives a pardon by the current administration, she will have done so after pro-administration media seemed to groom supporters by massaging the facts.
