KU have sent out rejection emails. Looking forward to seeing who they've hired in a few weeks

this time or the last handful of times it opened?

I suspect the HC is what happened. I remember someone saying the current Akron distance coach was there for only a semester due to the HC being a complete nut job.

The coach could have also been hired somewhere’s else but who knows for sure.

Does this mean things are getting better.

Why does Chicago State wants football? The athletic department doesn't have any money and the school almost shut down 10 years ago.

I mean it probably let's them actual recruit kids from the United States. Hard to get a program progressing when you have no conference championships or even ability to compete as a team. Football seems like a desperate move for boosting enrollment and hoping it can save them from cutting other programs completely.

I agree 100%. Maybe the money is better now? I see that they have two assistant coaches positions open for track and field

Gildea, a graduate of the University of Tennessee, ran cross country and track and field. He helped the Volunteers to the 2002 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field National title as well as the SEC crown.

Weird. LSU won the 2002 NCAA Outdoor title.

Is Mcnulty out at Dartmouth? From this mornings coaches wire:

"Dartmouth: Plymouth State (DIII) Men’s & Women’s Head Cross Country and Track & Field Coach John Ostler has resigned after nine-plus years to take a position with the Big Green. Assistant Coach Alice Field will serve as Interim Head Coach for the rest of the academic year."

I guess it was a hire out of convenient location? Plymouth State has not been very competitive for D3

Wasn't she the Head Track and Field Coach at Oakland University and recently at D3 HC. Regardless I think she is more than qualified for this position. It ain't a stellar program.

Ostler was not hired to coach. He has a job in the athletic department.

He’s a fine coach and a great person.

Dartmouth hired a D3 coach a while back. His name is Mark Coogan.

To everyone in general, there are excellent coaches in D3. Open your mind.
