I suspect the HC is what happened. I remember someone saying the current Akron distance coach was there for only a semester due to the HC being a complete nut job.
The coach could have also been hired somewhere’s else but who knows for sure.

I mean it probably let's them actual recruit kids from the United States. Hard to get a program progressing when you have no conference championships or even ability to compete as a team. Football seems like a desperate move for boosting enrollment and hoping it can save them from cutting other programs completely.

Got you. I think this coach has some HC experience. Seems like a very small roster. They probably have some funding issues. Not sure they will be able to participate in meets with that roster
Please define Head Coach experience and what does that entail.
Wasn't she the Head Track and Field Coach at Oakland University and recently at D3 HC. Regardless I think she is more than qualified for this position. It ain't a stellar program.
