Seth is corny but not all that commercialized so I like him. Kofuzi is basically walking around in a NASCAR suit, with the brands of the 8,000 different running companies who sponsor his endless travel on it, at this point. I'm not a fan of the glorified infomercials that Kofuzi calls "runner's weekend videos."

Because it shows a complete lack of empathy if Seth, a runner that clearly feels being unwell has inhibited his performance, still decides to meet other runners who also presumably don't want to get ill and have their race impacted - and takes absolutely 0 steps to stop others ending up in the situation he's in.
If you're going to blame a bad performance on being ill, don't also be a massive t*** and expose yourself to others.
Sociopathic narcissist. He wants all of the attention, cannot take criticism, and is always right because his detractors are too bitter/dumb to see the whole grand plan unfolding. For good measure, he blocks anyone that offers less than adoring praise. Always needs to deliberately show off his new stuff because you need to understand that he is successful!
He doesn’t care about the risks to others. If they get sick, that’s OK because it was their pleasure and their choice to meet him. Runs a world championship race with a selfie stick because his content is more important than representing his country. Other competitors looked thoroughly annoyed and the act was disrespectful on many levels. Family does without? A necessary sacrifice for his vision and business. They all stay home while he gets to travel far and wide. “Daddy is going to Europe and you might get a small portion of Andy’s if he’s happy with his race!”.
The break didn’t change him and he’s doubling down.
Take a wild guess how much he's charging to appear at Boston this year.
Whatever it is, it's way, way, way too much. But my guess is $50k for a Boston video. His Runna sponsorship failure is now complete, with Strava buying Runna for pennies (they sure burned through that VC money in a hurry by dumping money on runfluencers like Matt Choi and Kofuzi). Why Strava feels the need to purchase Runna when they already had somewhat personalized plans on their app for subscribers and have Stravabot is interesting. Seems to me like it's more about removing a potential future competitor than actually doing anything useful with the Runna platform.

Today the algorithm decided to share this with me, it is definitely because of how much time I spend on this thread! June of 2019, Kofuzi and the Greatest of All Time, Still the Original Running YouTuber going for a run together! Seth is largely the same. Kofuzi was way more enjoyable to watch then when it wasn't his primary career and just a fun side hustle he had. He's far less commercial in this video.
Guys SJD was laying down the excuses days ahead of time. He had a vlog a couple days before the race about how everyone around him was getting sick. When of course when he didn't race well it "surfaced."
It was funny when people wore a mask 3 years ago, it's just sad now. At least have the decency to hide your stupidity like everyone else does these days
Wearing a mask is virtue signalling. It does nothing else. It's also like every other virtue signal in that it causes controversy beyond looking like a twat. Evertime I see one I hum E-vapor-8......my vintage clear

I think they each had less than 10,000 followers at the time. Seth’s then modest channel had crazy growth over the next 14 months because of his several races in late Summer/Fall of 2019, Covid (he was a fun watch during this time when people were looking for something to watch), and culminating in his first Pikes Peak Marathon win. I agree that he is essentially the same guy (but with more kids).
Except for his monotone, rehearsed delivery, Kofuzi is almost unrecognizable. His growth was due to some combination of brand shilling and being at the center of the STCJ.
