Either

a) he actually runs like that and he's an idiot.

b) he runs evenly but the tracker is in the van and is not near rob

c) he's riding in the van.

The really crazy paces are in CO and KS, all kinds of wild pacing from the tracker in the middle of the night. They now claim they've only lost him a handful of times, so the tracker data must be pretty good.

According to the tracker he's got:

6 consecutive nights with 10+ miles in sub 60 minutes.

2 consecutive nights with 14+ miles at sub 6 pace.

6 consecutive nights with 1.5 hr+ at sub 6:30 pace

27.2 miles at sub 7 pace in Eastern Colorado. Look at lines 1343 to 1356 in the KML data.

All of those runs were recorded before the infamous night in KS.

My idea would be to publish a short article

"5 reasons why Robert Young probably cheated"

include a brief intro on his pre trip running accomplishments

then include the 5 most blatant anomalies from the trip.

From my perusing of the thread it looks like he has run some sub six minute mile pace 10ks at altitude in the midst of 70 mile days.

It looks like there a few more improbable feats similar to that.

And then the fact he immediately slowed down after he got called out.

Seriously though. In the video, the left arm of the walker in Emporia is swaying with the lit up object in the hand. Normally, if your smart phone is on, you hold it up to your face or chest steady to read it. You don't just sway it in your dangling hand. Rob does carry a lighted torch in his left hand and is pictured in his blog this way.

Honestly, I had never heard of this site before RY, & when I found it, I thought "hey, cool, another spot to hang out & chat about running." After finding out there's more dlcks here than in a Dark brother's film, I doubt there'd be any reason to come back.
