Has to hire at least three coach pretty soon right
Two of the coaches on staff coach the events he coaches, so if he retains the throws coaches he has to hire at least 4 other coaches. For now, yes he needs 3(sprints/sprints/distance) I believe
Events he coaches. That'll be an interesting conversation.
Mr Oklahoma assistant, I know the euro champ that you coached won NCAAs and the euro champ I coached did not survive the season, however...
Serves as an assistant coach and performs semi-complex supervisory program work in one or more university-recognized intercollegiate activities or special athletic programs
Looking at their coaching staff on their website they only have 1 distance coach and it's lee wood, the head of cross & track. So either he's left or they got funding for an assistant coach.
I realize as i type this, it doesn't really answer your question. Sorry hahah
Head position will be open. Was told by a kid on that team that Wood is leaving.
ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio cross country and women's track and field teams have added Drew Windle to the staff as assistant cross country and distance coach, as announced
I've noticed that jobs don't come up very often in the PNW. Does anyone have an idea why that may be? Fewer schools? Better job security?
There are often jobs available Lewis and Clark, Portland State, Western Washington, Idaho, one of the Seattle schools I think have all seen turnover recently… it’s just that there are only about 5 schools that anyone really pays attention to… a couple power 5-ish, a couple that wish they still were and a few kinda relevant mid majors… there are actually dozens of schools in Oregon, Wash, Idaho but lots are d2/3 or naia so they flew below the radar on this super elite site.

Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Lisa Breznau announced Tuesday the addition of Richard Fisher to the staff as an assistant coach, specializing in the
Lindenwood Men's Track is a victim of Title 9, because of their male Football numbers.
I hope Football makes money for the college ! Just kidding.
I'm certain they don't as I imagine your last comment intended. The decision-makers for them may argue that Lindenwood is the only "D1" program in the St. Louis area - and with no pro team - people will come and support their FCS FB program.
I'm a huge football fan - of the game - but ADs and decision-makers see $$$ where I don't. They will continue to lose money sponsoring FB, just like the super majority of college FB programs.
The Chicago State athletic department announced today that Katrina Brumfield has been named director of track & field for the Cougars. In her role she will oversee
Made it pretty obvious they were only going to hire a women of color. Don't envy anyone who is inheriting that program. I'm sure she'll be gone in 2 years tops to take a better D1 gig like the past 3 coaches.
