Could Paul Edwards, thrower banned for life, be telling the truth?

Letsrun has given currency to the Chinese doping stories coming out from 90’s.

The evidence provided on the forum is very very convincing.

In her book Professor Cowan of Kings College London Said if I had a sample of the 7.5 ph I would throw it away Edwards sample was 8.1 and the specific gravity was 1.0 . When questioned by lawyers He was very rude.

This new info is very interesting.Cowen made a decision to go against his own regulations and then the Panel ignore this ; why?

No wonder Scotland Yard issued a warrant over the way Cowen dealt with the Edwards case.

I think you have to ask a general question and see where that may suggest.

WADA are the doping police but they are a closed shop with each section supporting each other.

The gifting of research grants to laboratories who then become key witnesses in hearing would not be tolerated elsewhere.

NADOs provide significant funds to laboratories and then rely upon the laboratories to provide independent evidence at hearing. Bit of a closed shop.

Who then police the doping police? Ah, the very same doping police.

All I am doing is pointing to areas that would not be accepted in the non doping world.

Human selfish nature and the habits of bears in the woods are both universal truths.

Power corrupts and think about what power the doping police have.

Massive funding and grants and then think of the soft corruption of promotions well beyond people’s stations in life.

Thus don’t just think of the “ bung” but all sorts of ways to get what you want and this will extend to every wood in the world.

The physical world evolves dramatically slower than our inner mental world. Be patient, but persistent. The times, they are a-changing!

The whole basis that the doping police is that they exist outside all normal standards.

They argue that the rules of sport are nothing to do with anyone other than sport.

Thus the height of hurdles are 3 feet 6 inches and this is not challenged on any basis from outside sport.

Every element of doping policing sees it in the same way.

The original WADA code made this clear, not checked but very much think it is still set in stone.

Thus the doping police claim total power and as we are all aware , all power corrupts,let alone absolute power.

I am still surprised,however,how gullible the Letsrun editors are in accepting the words of doping police so freely.

But no organisation should be above the law of the land or should they be .

There is no point if Anti doping is above the law .

That is the whole basis of WADA.

You choose to compete and thus choose to accept that it is above the law.

No government body must be above the law it is against all forms of rights and justices.

WADA is not a government body but is half funded by governments from across the world.In the UK the NADO , which is UKAD, is entirely funded by the government and is a government agency.

So, the contradiction is that a government agency is bound by the rules of an independent ruled organisation that claims to sit outside of the law.

UK taxpayers are you happy with this esp as you can see how it seems to have all worked out in the Edwards case?

Well over £700,000 has been spent on this case .Is the government happy with this case going 24 years and longer .

Whatever it costs to get dirty cheats banned is worth it.Edwards has been banned as a dirty cheat and the money is the price of getting a dirty cheat gone.

There is and was no evidence that Paul Edwards is a cheat. Just stating he is and justifying the use of money to frame him is not right. It is not far different from the multiple murderer Christie framing Timothy Evans and seeing him executed on fabricated evidence. In that case Christie got his comeuppance in the end. I think we should all hope that happens in Paul's case.

This cannot just be about one case there has to be a much bigger picture .why would it go on 24 years What are they hiding.
