Are we reading the same thread? Cam has been outnumbered on this thread by those in favor of Sage by like 20 to 1. One of the earliest posts was Sage himself trashing Cam by including numerous criticisms that had nothing to do with doping. And Sage even admitted it!

Honestly, why not use the big guns (Rachel and Killian) and go after this guy? Esp. assuming they are clean. They are already legends in ultra and that would make this go away.

But Rachel and Killian have actual running careers to worry about. There's zero upside and only potential downside to them "going after" Cam. Sage has a lot of time and not much to lose at this point. If anything, Cam drawing attention to Cocodona is good for everyone, especially Aravaipa and the top finishers who get tons of extra free publicity.
Aravaipa needs them more then they need Aravaipa. Aravaipa needs sponsors more than sponsors need them. A few pros speaking up, especially Killian and Rachel, would make Aravaipa poop their pants and turn out a response so fast they would go out and say pretending they have been carefully monitoring the situation waiting to respond when they had more information.
Anyways I have already emailed and got a response form WSER about Aravaipa's drug leniency. I hope they do something about it. The more people put pressure on, the quicker the change. I plan on emailing more.

If that's true, it would've been a two year ban, maybe even shortened to a one year ban, had he not decided to throw two week temper tantrum on Instagram, claim the rules didn't apply to him (they do apply to him), claim Anti-Doping rules don't apply to recreational runners at Boston (they do apply to recreational runners at Boston), and actively threaten the one (known) whistle blower who reported him to USADA. Ugh, good point about Rachel and Killian. And if we know it, Cam knows it, and he's betting house money that he'll rideout the situation, no pun intended, and come out on top. It took him MONTHS to apologize for his embarrassing uninformed behavior during the Spring Energy debacle. He follows the Trump playback pretty well - when you catch heat, avoid taking responsibility, deflect, and if all else fails, double down.

I certainly have NOT been critical of him in terms of his Religion or politics. At all. Did I recently mention his "trophy bear hunting" activity?...yes. That was a mistake and I'll admit has nothing to do with the doping case. But certainly I have not been criticizing Cam "for years"! He also said I "made up lies about him and his son" on earlier social media comments/posts and I have no idea what he is talking about. It appears he is actually making up lies about me know though.
This guy honestly wasn't even on my radar until last month when he popped that Eugene Marathon 2:39 time at his age. I was more following and "being critical" about his jeans running son and how ridiculous 1. wearing jeans while shirtless in a marathon is and 2. How a 2:16 goal is a bit of a stretch. Here’s my issue with this. Lots of people have shown a loyalty to Cam Hanes for some reason and all I think is - BIRDS OF A FEATHER.
-Rachel loves to play the “pick me” type of girl and pretend she’s “not like the other girls” and so she cozies up to Cam Hanes and never has denounced him and his doping ever. She couldn’t even get her self to say she didn’t agree with his politics. She posted a video a few months ago saying she didn’t need to speak on politics and it wasn’t “who she was”. Well that right there tells me she’s MAGA and a conservative and that’s why she’s flocking to Cam Hanes. Will never cheer for her for this reason. She had an opportunity to be on the right side of history and chose to be a pick me. Almost guarantee she is doping too.
-same with (the very deep in the closet) Kilian Korth who now pretends he’s some bow hunting hobbyist ever since going and meeting Cam. Kilian and Racheldon’t denounce the bad behavior. They are complicit in it because they refuse to say anything about it. So them saying anything won’t happen and that’s just the way Jamil wants it. He knows they won’t say anything because they are friends with Cam and support Cams wrong doings. Would almost guarantee he is doping.
-Jamil doesn’t care about Cam doping because at the end of the day Jamil doesn’t care about the community or the runners- he cares about lining his pockets.
