I don't wanna cheer on athletes getting hurt, but Kerr found himself in such a terrible position + running in sunglasses for no damn reason. I'm more surprised that something like this hasn't happened to him sooner. I think him finishing on an injury could potentially worsen it, too.
Common knowledge the glasses are a sponsorship just like the sprinters with the expensive watches. Kerr has a good agent.
Remember Elle st Pierre wore shades winning her indoor title
Nader closed his last 300m in 37.94, and last 200 25.32... after a 55.37.
I think that Nader's chances were discounted largely because he doesn't speak english/doesn't do english media. I he would be a guy from USA he would be hyped a lot. A guy who is solid tactically and has a great top end

It just demonstrates the crowd at LRC know nothing about what they’re talking about.
You couldn't write a better story for the mem's 1500m world champs.
Jakob Ingebrigsten got eliminated in the heats due to a to potential injury Cole Hocker got disqualified in the semi finals due to jostling Josh Kerr got his ankle clipped in the finals and ended up last place Niels laros, a heavy favourite only got fifth in the finals, who got beat by Timothy Cheruiyot who is not among the favourites Issac Nader, a true Dark Horse taking gold The only realistic outcome is Jake Wight man getting silver
As there is an alleged saying the 1500 is a 12 man race rather than 2-3
It is crazy to me that, after all this talk of Americans having the best 1500m runners in the world, not a single one was a factor in the final.
I don't agree. There have been more egregious fouls, but in my book that was a clear DQ.
I'm tired of this garbage, if YOU got DQ'd like this you would be pissed, if you were Farken, you'd be upset at the officials. People squeeze through gaps in races, they clip each other, they shoulder around each other. It happens, it's a physical sport, you can't just teleport in front of people.
I swear you people have never raced in your life, there isn't much you can do when the drone running in front of you completely dies. I'm tired of this moral grandstanding, it's so obvious how many of the posters on this board are just role-playing as track athletes.
Marwa Bouzayani 9:01 in long sleeves and a head covering, insane toughness
She was the only person I watched during the race. I kept expecting her to fall back, and she kept moving up (perhaps with a little help from some of her competitors' mishaps along the way). Among U.S. women, only Frerichs has run faster, which just seems crazy to me.
