I think Cole's running with a chip on his shoulder. Or at least I did, before he followed up a 31 with a 67 just now (reminder: splits are on https://results.usatf.org/ - but be careful at the end, because they're a bit ahead of the broadcast and can spoil the final results for you)
His strength is unreal - especially at his age. He is legitimately about 7-8m back at 600m and was running in lane 2 and not looking exactly that comfortable - but he then rips off a 25.7 final 200m in lane 2 the entire way.
