I saw that commitment today. It is the same Alyson for sure? No history of results at IMG until this Fall.

Same girl, she was tagged in old Colorado Instagram posts. She committed really early last year.

Just a note - I could not find an actual commitment date for several of the recent adds to the list from tprunner so I arbitrarily assigned 10/5/25 in red just so the tables of monthly commitments would capture them. Happy to change with a real date.

Does the date actually matter?

No the date does not matter as they are verbal commitments at this point and can change.

it doesnt matter i think they are just tracking to see if there are any trends in when people commit. I.E. top 100 women commit earlier on average than top 100 men. 800 specialists commit earlier/later than 2 mil specialists etc.,

as I recall I was asked to include the date....so I do...and since I do I want it to be as accurate as possible...hence in this case I make public that some might be wrong.

As we stand, through October 25, in the commitments that I have seen and listed.
Only about half of the top 10/20/30/40/50 girls 800 m runners have announced a commitment.
About 70% of the top 10/20/30/40/50 girls 3200 m runners have announced a commitment
Only about half of the top 10/20 boys 800 m runners have announced a commitment - and very few of the next 10/20/30.
Just about all of the top 10 boys 3200 m runners have announced a commitment - and then about half of the next 10/20/30/40
The time breaks for each decile are shown in the Google sheet.
So there are a lot of top runners left uncommitted as we speak.
