That's an important point of just how good a team needs to be if they want to be an NXN contender. In my opinion though, it is not realistic to think this year is going to be as good as last year. Last year's top 4 were all time greats, #'s 6,8,15 and 18 on the all-time Woodward park list. Having a 5 man team average 15:17 is a high bar. In 2022, take away NP, and the best individual time on the combined 2 other NXN qualifiers was 15:23. For reference GO's combined SR was 179.
I think it accurate to say "If a team’s goal is to be an at-large contender for nxn 3rd & 4th in the merge….they should be expecting to average 15:30 at Woodward Park. Which is a 179 speed rating average."
Getting an at-large bid looks to be tougher this year as other regions look really stacked. It may take team ave's of 15:27/180.
