To everyone in the “if she were actually doping she would’ve just gotten a TUE” crowd…

No, not necessarily. TUE’s can get denied. If she applied for a TUE and it got denied (which seems like it would have been fairly likely given alternative acne treatment options), she knows she now loses her “alibi” for taking that specific diuretic.

And then what …. Apply for another random TUE that just so happens to also be a diuretic? That’s certainly not suspicious.

I’m sorry, but it’s just TOO easy to know that this was a banned substance.

did say it was so nice to be back doing workouts.. but only because she wasn't able to from being in Europe(??). Also said she's been struggling with chronic fatigue caused by stress.. with just seems like a really basic sympathy ploy

TBH I'm most interested in understanding how reliable her session splits were if she's running in lane 8 and going off GPS, as it doesn't seem like she's working out the distance per lap in that lane. Lame. Yet another thing a sponsored athlete should be taking seriously. That and not being coached by your boyfriend's high school buddy

When has she EVER addressed her suspension/ban? Why has she not returned the money for Carlsabad? As it looks now she is as dirty as they come, as dishonest as they come, as non-transparent at they come and for not giving back the money - as terrible as they come. That money is not yours.

Oh for god's sake. She DID address it in her Aug 27th video, that even has "I got a 4 month ban" in the title. It is not that hard to find. And how do you know that she didn't give the money back? Did you ask her? Honestly, this is getting so ridiculous.

Ostrander’s four-month period of ineligibility began on April 28, 2023, the date her provisional suspension was imposed. In addition, Ostrander has been disqualified from any competitive results obtained on and subsequent to March 30, 2023, the date her positive sample was collected, including forfeiture of any medals, points and prizes.

She made a video 3 days ago dedicated to the suspension.

therese johaug, probably greatest xc skier ever, was banned for 3-4 years for using a blister cream that was prescribed from norway by the norweigan xc team olympic team doctor while training in italy (she was diagnosed with sunstroke and hospitalized from the sun). she was at the very top of her career and certainly have won more olympic golds (10 in all i think). she then came back and became the greatest again. if you look at a picture of her huge lip blisters it is truly shocking.

She is as dirty as they come.

It's not circumstantial. It's black and white. She doped. 4 mos is a light ban. She and anyone associated with her should NEVER have anything to do with the sport again. I hope she never coaches anyone who may not be fully aware as it would bring disrepute on them to work with cheaters as well.

So the ban happened more than 4 months ago and she just makes a video now? That doesn't seem too honest or transparent to me. The day she found out about the ban she should have made a video. Why did she wait 4 months? So she could fabricate some lie?

Because it was an open case until two days prior to her video and she couldn't post about it.

How was it an open case? She was serving a 4-month ban. Her case had already been adjudicated. Explain to me how it was an open case.

The use of “weight loss agents” include diuretics, such as spironolactone. It is used in bodybuilding to get down to competition weight.
