Ramos really no chance. UNLV has a candidate already staffed and serving the interim role.
Limiting the job posting would indicate that they will hire the interim. Minority female would be top of the list for them.

The UNLV head coaching position doesn't pay that much. Jebreh Harris probably makes at least that much as an assistant coach at USC.
Plus recruiting is a lot easier at USC.
Plus Jebreh really likes training pro 800 runners and it's unlikely that he could get the pro 800 runners that he currently coaches to move to Las Vegas.

UNLV job already taken down from HR site. Expect the interim to be announced as official soon.
