Churchhill was impressive, I’ll give him that. But since the dawn of the age of information, knowing his life is almost the same as living it. Or even better. I can read Churchhill’s biography and know everything he did and learn what lessons are. Know who couldn’t do that? Churchhill. Because he was stuck in his own life.
So, yes, I will “shore up” where Churchhill’s boat went astray, and where his levees broke. If we put a finger in the dyke and wait for the flood to go away, it will only get worse.
