That is the whole point of the thread that you cannot seem to grasp. Russell had begin his decline even last season. Pete Carroll knew it. That is why they traded him. Russell is turning 34 tomorrow (Tuesday) and he is a dual threat QB who has become one dimensional as he is aging into his mid 30s. How can you claim to know football and not see this? NEVER compare a mobile QB when he is 25 to when he is 35. You will see a decline in production. Give me an example of a mobile QB who did not decline in his mid 30s. Hell Cam Newton cannot even get a job in the league.

Pete Carroll wasn't about to let the Seahawks' franchise quarterback go without trying to convince him to stay.
Carroll told 710ESPN radio in Seattle that he tried to convince Wilson to stick around given the "history and all the time spent" between him and the Seahawks. Carroll was unsuccessful, however. Wilson wanted out and was traded to the Broncos on March 16.arrr
Dude, where did you get the idea Carroll saw a decline in his PRO BOWL QB? He wanted him to stay. And looking at Wilson's 2020/2021 stats, what decline? Show me this decline love to see it.

A 100 passer rating is a big deal for a QB, in his long career Tom Brady has had 8 seasons where he ended up with a 100 or better passer rating. In his 10 season career this being 11 Wilson has had a 100 passer rating 7 times.

It wouldn't shock me to see Wilson return to Seattle after this season, Do think it's too late to make it work in Denver. They will rework the $$$$$ and Denver will be back to looking for a QB. Seattle with their greatest QB back home.

Why would Seattle want a past his prime malcontent like Russell Wilson? If the season ended today they would have like the 4th pick in the draft (via Denver) and if they pick a QB he will come much cheaper than Russ. You are really out of touch and it shows how little you know football.

We don't know where this will end up, looking like it will start with the firing their coach. Best to take a wait and see approach, do know this is kinda weird actually. Gotta be something going on here we aren't aware of........yet.
