Robert Young fakes run across America

So I have to guess they're saying their driver is so stupid he lost track of Rob twice in a couple of hour span. They never had to turn back to backtrack as far as can be discerned at any point after Asher's video. Lucky Rob turned up alive.

7:08:19 (just outside Williams on I-40)

7:44:14 (distance 1.945 miles, pace 6:08) (ends at 7:56:15)

35:58 to cover 6.236 miles at elevation after 4 hours of running and in the middle of a 70 mile day, in which they had time to visit the Grand Canyon...

In some ways, it mirrors what Vaz has been reporting about his crazy pacing(!). After this effort he did a lot of 20-minute miles walking into Flagstaff before their jaunt to the south rim and a nap.

113 on it from the start and I have to agree with this conclusion. He'll finish, definitely no record so no data and they will hope it fizzles out. On the plus side I don't think they can reasonably try cheating like this again and while he still has (blind) fans, this has cost him dearly.

As you are onsite with them, please take a photo of the call history of the two crew members' phones for the night of Emporia, KS. This is the night of the OP finding no runner and the whole car wash CCTV video and the crew claiming that RY was far behind and that he used a stranger's cellphone to call the crew to come back. This claim was made in the Runners World interview. So, you should be able to find this 1:00am phone call from the strangers phone. Please get this and take a screenshot of it in the call history of their phone.

Or, if they are unwilling to provide you this or come up with some excuse of having deleted their call history to save memory, let us know the bs excuse they come up with.

So he's doing marathon speedwork multiple times a day every day for 3,000 miles. He's incredible! He should be in the Guiness Book of World Records!

Two messiah's in Rob and Laz have been ripped to pieces by LRC, this I can understand, but our own LR 'outer of cheaters' messiah 'doubler' has been getting ripped, WTF is going on with this crazy world. We need that data so we can concentrate on more important things.

If the goal of this traveling show is truly pocketing money via less than legit charities then the Guinness record truly is secondary. Is there any way of telling if all these facebook supporters are real people or just aliases that are part of an illusion of a huge groundswell of support for the "movement for the kids". When you read their words is really is hard to believe it isn't fake and cooked up.

Actually the statement " If and when he claims a record it will be backed up by huge amounts of data that will leave nothing in doubt - including many independent witnesses, such..." doesn't exclude the possibility of releasing data if the record attempt fails/Rob doesn't finish. They only state the record breaking scenarios will be backed up by data. There is no mention of non-record breaking scenarios - which means they have left open the possibility of releasing the data whatever the end result.

Attempts to silence or disparage those who have exposed this big circle of scams have been common. You can expect more of that. They tried that with the people who tipped off the legitimate charity lisa smith batchen originally claimed she was running for on her transcon this year when they had no idea she was using their name and logo. They tried to disparage the tipsters. It didn't work then and won't now but you can expect more of that. This is how they earn their living, they missed one payday this year they're likely in panic mode to make this work.

If you think this doubler guy is a messiah then you need to look a little deeper. Basically, what he has done is take the info from LRC threads on cheaters and post them on his blog. Copy/Paste. No original thought. He has no original material of any significance.

that's fine. I've started and stopped on this a number of times. I started getting ulist updates right when this thread blew up. Have a half written article, but pretty much decided to lay back unless uncover something that has not been addressed - and that seems unlikely. Plus someone emailed me Larry Macon car rental receipts, so I was comparing those to his races.

We need a reenactment. Have someone walk by the same time at night with reflective clothing and running shoes and see what it looks like. Our man in black doesn't look like he has the running tights and shiny running shoes that Rob wears, but maybe they wouldn't shine.
