There is a $2T yearly deficit. Tariffs increased from about 3.5% to 7% of revenue. Tariffs are causing inflation and business retraction, so tax income is falling. Trump could fire every federal employee and only save 5%, so he has saved 1% with layoffs, maybe Republicans just DECREASED revenue by much more that the the gains from layoffs and tariffs, mostly as a gift to rich people while taking programs from the poor.

So, yes, $300B sounds like a lot but it is actually an overall loss.

So THEN, and only THEN, Trump (1) has the DOJ flag all instances of his name in the Epstein files, (2) claims he is not in the Epstein files (despite what Mosk and the DOJ flags say) and they will not be released, (3) claims all documents in the Epstein files with his name on them are fabricated by Obama, Clinton and Biden (and actually sues anyone who says otherwise), (4) fires the original Maxwell prosecutor who actually reviewed ALL the Epstein files, and (5) decides to have his new Deputy AG Todt Blanche -- who is ALSO his go-to personal criminal defense attorney --- meet with the long ago convicted Maxwell for first time (and while her appeal is pending).
