To me this day more about who can’t work with Beth Alford Sullivan. He leaves an Associate Head Coach role to become an assistant again?

Well he was promoted as an after thought. After another coach was hired to the associate head coach role. I’d feel pretty disrespected too and peace out.
LOL to ANYONE who legitimately thinks Johnson made the hires at Oregon. These we hires made by Vin, Salazar and Crazy Doc Treasurer. Johnson is a very well paid puppet — nothing more.

So they opt for the 2010 mazda miata and tell people it is easier to drive and gets better gas mileage, has less miles, but is just as good as the Mustang.

Okay, I get the Vin and Salazar insinuation, but I keep seeing this Treasure guy thrown in as if he is on the same level as the other two. Isn't he just a team sports psychologist? I get that it is important for peak performance, but what is so special about his opinion on who should be an NCAA coach. From his bio, he hasn't ever been an NCAA coach. What makes him special?

I know you won’t believe me, but Nike pays a stipend to these coaches. Thomas and SF coach got 60-80k a year from Nike. They also got a very large allowance for Nike purchases. Depending on the coach 10-20k a year.
For head coaches they also get Nike bonus.
I've been told the same thing from a former Oregon assistant coach. I'm pretty sure it's a common occurrence in football and basketball as well at many Power 5 schools.

I would guess that you are still being considered for that schools position vacancy that is still available.
Not all jobs are as highly scrutinized as Oregon, Texas and Kentucky. They also do not pay like those schools either.....but if you want to actually develop/coach kids......and do not need to make six figures.....then there are some good places out there.
