certainly looks like the top 2 were a lot slower than usual but wouldnt seem any of the rest of the field were affected. what happened?! another event ruined by the london marathon events p1ss poor organisational

Prize was £500 and £100 down to 5th. Check the guys who came 9th and 33rd on power of 10 they've both run sub 14:30 for 5k this year and went as far wrong as the top 2. 3rd, 4th 7th also ran an extra 200 or so.

Did find it strange when I saw Elmi and Omar running 30+ mins on a flat course!
I suppose this is the issue when you have 3 different race distances at the same time on a non-looped course, bound to be mess-ups. At least the marathon was fine this year. Much easier to go again and bounce back from a cocked up 10k!
I’ve heard that LME have messed up the starting pens for London again this year with those with good for age times who selected the “green option” being put in a separate wave with fun runners and charity runners. Runners with a target time of 2:45 in that wave are gonna be stuck behind those with a target time of 3:30+!!
Starting to wonder if True Love has been spending too much time with Matt Fox & disappeared as well; nearly 40 minutes of uncut footage without a single phone call or mention. Not seen here in the background either & the eggman was doing some amount of cooking last week too.

Immediately enters the top 3 SJD b-roll clips of all time, just below poncho walk. Then as he leaves the church he is inexplicably wearing golden Bret The Hitman Hart sunglasses, not your typical Sunday church garb.

Nearly forty minutes of uncut New Jersey Half ‘Thon Seth vlog. Didn’t have the patience to watch all of it. I think it is best for Roger Biebert to give his expert insights of this latest cinematic epic for DGR followers. In lieu of it being Holy Week there may be special emphasis on the overt and symbolic religious themes embedded in the footage.
Looks like a 71 min result for Demoor. What will it take for Seth to complete a bog-standard race plan and stop with the mad scientist stuff...

I'm not familiar with the Jersey City half marathon, but is this there some reason why he'd fly all the way out for that specific race?
I understand traveling for "special" marathons (e.g. majors, fast courses trying to OTQ, etc.) like Boston, NYC, Chicago, CIM, Grandma's... especially since there aren't that many marathons a year.
But half marathons are a dime a dozen around here. What was so special about the JERSEY CITY HALF MARATHON? Did the organizers pay him cash to publicize it?

Didn't follow him this time round when he picked his race but normally it has to be pancake flat and have enough expected runners around his pace to be able to get in a group and work together...

I don't know why it irks me so much but watching video after video of him hobbling through 4 hour+ marathons 'pacing' people is so irritating. While being a total d-bag and probably over-racing, at least Nick Bester throws down for PRs regularly and it makes for entertaining viewing in that regard.
Also, whenever i see his 'team' members wearing the stupid bandanas on their wrist i just want to rip it off and wipe my ass with it
Apparently Fordy is running the London Marathon, a race he has been given free entry into by New Balance, in a pair of New Balance SC Elite which New Balance have sent him.
So good that people like him get free gear and free entry in to races to plod along and walk it in.
Aubrey Running is doing Boston and Berlin for free as well

His factors were: date of marathon; course; potential race weather; competition; and race organization. He didn't disclose anything about appearance fees, etc.

I thought Fordy does a charity bib? He's mentioned a charity before. Its not one of the more well known ones.
Aubrey baffles me. He's the very definition of zero running ability (2h12 for a half!) yet the brands fall over themselves for him! And I cant stand when influencers use their kids as props "for the likes"
He's also done the inevitably half time "rebrand" to "bigger than running" which involves a shed ton of waffle and lofty goals that will never materialise.

I noticed last week that he was driving the family SUV and shuttling kids and the big pickup wasn’t in the garage in one of his videos. I suspect True Love is working a job outside of the home to bring in money.
SJD also keeps mentioning that the past year was rough, trying, tough, etc. being devout Catholics, they wouldn’t get a divorce. I do wonder if there is a silent divorce happening? Cohabitation but the union is now a child rearing arrangement and she wants nothing to do with his running, vlogging, or business?
