She was driven across the country to Texas and when she arrived in Houston, her Chinese passport was taken away from her. Carcamo-Perdomo locked the victim in a boarded-up closet where she was left for five days without food or water. According to court documents obtained by Click2Houston, the victim was repeatedly raped. Authorities received a 911 call about reports of a woman screaming for help. When police arrived to the property on Elderberry Lane, they discovered the woman in the boarded-up closet. She was taken to an undisclosed location for treatment and counseling. Investigators believe Carcamo-Perdomo is part of a larger human trafficking ring.
