If Kipchoge uploaded a 2:04 marathon to Strava I wouldn't bat an eye but if matt choi did I would scrutinize all the data. Since PJ does not have the level of training, success, fitness as PK of course he is going to get more scrutiny. His claim of even close to a world record is more unbelievable than PK, a highly trained successful ultra guy, running an actual world record.

In addition, a few things can be true at once. It's true that any donations to charity are good, he is putting himself through something difficult, etc.

It's also true that some of the data is fishy and doesn't add up, and since he has a higher burden of proof than PK would it is not unreasonable for us to scrutinize a bit.

Streetferret is on here. They could post the Garmin Connect stuff. That makes everything go away, right Sneakers? If he's genuine, this is the way to have the idiots of whom you speak look upon the 3rd grade easy graphs and go "Oh no, I've made a terrible error, that Sneakers guy was on the money". They could do that and make you look like a golden god and show that Paul was legit all along.

I was the one on LRC defending her from your side saying not to release the Garmin data because you would keep accusing her of cheating and make up new conspiracy theories about her fabricating the Garmin data. And what I predicted would happen from your side about the endless harrassment of Ashley Paulson came true exactly as I predicted with fresh new conspiracy theories.

You can't even figure out the super simple steps to download from Strava and yet you think you know how to analyze Garmin Connect data?

You know as well as I do that the Garmin plots are completely overlaid, with a huge number of plots and that ZERO skill is required to analyse them. The general population are not going to download data and if there was doubt about me, I would provide them with the easily understandable graphs that Garmin provides and are INCORRUPTIBLE.

The Garmin data exists. They just need to post his Garmin ID and BAM. The problem goes away. I'm not pro or anti Paul, but I am pro-transparency. There is no sensitive data on there. For Sneakers to think (actually he doesn't thinks, he just says) that Paul will get more abuse if he releases that, is the act of a complete clownshow. Unless the data shows he is bogus. Are any of you following Russ Cook? Hardest Geezer? The guys is getting a fraction of the abuse, because he is uber-transparent. You can find his Garmin stuff if you have a Garmin account. It's immaculate.

Sneakers, if you think pressing "pace" and "heart rate" on those charts is a skill, then I heartily apologise, but they are about the most simplistic bits of data viz I've ever seen...but then again, you're not a smart man and you probably do think that is a skill.

Yet, you can't even figure out how to press a simple download button for Strava to get the data.

Look, if this guy is already being "harassed", as you say, for what many consider to be his questionable Strava data, then what does he have to lose by providing another set of more easily parsed data that might fully exonerate him from suspicion? If this data actually supported the credibility of his Strava data in a way that even a casual observer could understand, then doesn't it stand to reason that the level of "harassment" he's now facing would be reduced by its release? If he could easily do it, why on earth would be not want to reduce the level of suspicion he is now facing?

It's clear that you continue to attempt to belittle with your "you can't download or parse the Strava data, so shut up" line as a way to avoid addressing the simple logic of the case for greater transparency: You simply can't say with any clarity why someone in this guy's position would not be making a bigger effort to be transparent. If he's legit, what's in it for him to be stubborn or dismissive? The same question applied to WG and you never satisfactorily addressed it. You're getting relentlessly downvoted not because we're all paranoid cynics, but because you're fronting, for reasons known only to you.

I guess we are back to posting videos claiming he ran more than anyone else in the world last week, even after being told about Camille. At this point every Instagram post is a minefield in the comments. The vast majority of the most liked comments are people who are angry / skeptical of him. People asking about cadence, or missing total step count, or asking to release his Garmin files.

I assume this is going to continue wearing on him, which is why PK recommended staying off social media. I'd wager he lost the PR battle at this point, this crowd isn't going to be won back unless he shares a ton of data and has good explanations.

I'm expecting increasingly hostile posts about the "haters" are less than a day or two away.

More wild cadence data from Strava Desktop while moving uphill at a consistent pace. And then they post a Garmin .gpx on their Instagram to troll people pointing out glaring inconsistencies.
