Sally is a moron in New York a jury's verdict of guilt is a conviction. The New York definition of conviction is below.
Conviction - When the court enters a plea of guilty OR a finding of guilt by a jury or the Court.
Sally's been playing gotcha, but he doesn't know how to read. The OR in the definition is important. The court entering a guilty plea is one way to convict. The finding of guilt is the other way to convict.
This idiot is focused on the word entering. He's wrong.
You can either Enter a Plea OR Find Guilt in order to convict.
Sally - You are 100% wrong. And you're really stupid for repeating it over and over.
You are citing New York law. As an attorney you should know that the law is different in every state. Why would you be citing New York law?
He was convicted in New York. New York law applies. You're wrong. You've been wrong for months.
No idiot. He's still been convicted. There are 2 way to convict in NY.
1. Entering a guilty plea
2. A finding of guilt buy a jury or the court.
Nowhere does it say that a sentencing is required for a conviction. Your misunderstanding doesn't change the requirement. Trump absolutely is a convicted felon, right now. No need to wait for sentencing to call him one. You've been wrong the whole time.
Quit calling me an idiot please. You are citing NY law. The law is different in every state. Do you not know the law is different in every state. Which law School did you go to? Trump Law School?
You are an idiot. It was a NY case. NY law applies.
Within MINUTES of Harris announcing her VP pick, this thread has endless posts about whether trump is "guilty" or "adjudicated" as a sexual abuser, whether he is already a felon or has been convicted or does that happen at sentencing, etc.
as Karl Rove said, "When you are defending, you are losing."
don-OLD Dump is toast, and the posts in this thread over the last hour make that clear as day. The election will be a referendum on a felon, sexual abuser, who cannot run a charity in New York, who owes hundreds of millions for business fraud, that led a failed coup attempt. (And his VP pick, that says that people without kids "don't have a stake in this country.")
Your policies are idiotic and harmful.
No rational human being would vote for 4 more years of this fiasco.

Because New York law applies in a case of state charges in New York.

Well if you don't like what majority of Americans want and vote for, you are free to GTFO.
If he flees before imposition of sentence, there was no felony conviction. I posted that from a legal journal yesterday.
If he flees before sentencing. He's still a convicted felon. He's also a fugitive.
No, you are continually wrong. If he flees before imposition of sentence, he is not a convicted felon. I said this yesterday. Go back and read what I wrote.
Kamala really went with the ultra liberal, riot supporting governor of a historically blue state over the extremely popular governor of the most important swing state in the country just because picking a Jew would have pissed off their pro Hamas base.
"I've heard that her pick, I've heard he was in the military, but he wasn't an officer. You have to be pretty smart to be an officer, pretty smart. I like the smart guys. JD was in the Marines, went to law school, a very smart guy. But they....but KAMala, she's not so smart, not smart at all. She's like a dumber Bernie Sanders, really."

Doesn't matter what you think Sally, everyone knows he's a convicted felon.
Yet nobody gives a sh!t. Your girl is winning 1 single battleground state and polling dead even. That's the best you guys could do? He's a convicted felon for f*cks sake! A rapist, a sexist, a racist, and that's the best you can do??
You keep repeating a tired talking point that you don't understand. The New York Court definition of conviction is below.
Conviction - When the court enters a plea of guilty OR a finding of guilt by a jury or the Court.
See the word - OR - That means a conviction is the entering of a guilty plea OR a conviction is a finding of guilt by a jury or the court.
A finding of guilt by a jury has already happened. He has been convicted.
Your lack of understanding doesn't make you correct.
If you pleaded guilty to a charge, you are considered "guilty." If you have not been sentenced yet, as it happens with a suspended imposition of sentence, then you are not technically considered "convicted."
A suspended sentence is not the same thing as awaiting sentencing.
A suspended sentence is an action taken by the court to suspend an existing conviction.
Someone awaiting sentencing the conviction exists the court hasn't sentenced yet.
Like I said. Your lack of understanding doesn't change the requirements.
