Why can’t we see 164. Where did it go?

When the first post on page 164 was deleted it broke the link to be able to access it. Now that there's an active post it should stay up.

Anyone remember why it was deleted? I saw a few comments deleted. What was being said that warranted them being deleted?

Is that 4 or 5 sprint coaches that have left Memphis now in the past 5 or 6 years?

Either the pay, or the director. Maybe both.

If I recall, some jumps coaches also. A lot of turnover there in recent years.

"This position has a preferred candidate." I don't think I have ever seen that in a job posting

I appreciate this honesty. Thanks Coach Sparks for not wasting everyone’s time. Now if more places would do this or just not post at all that be great. Posting for a job that’s already filled is the dumbest rule ever

Probably a private school thing. Shocked they even have to post.

That "preferred candidate" line of text was followed by several bullet points of desired, ideal qualifications. They were saying "our preferred candidate would have the following skills/experience/etc..." not that they already had some specific person in mind for the job.

It is used in different wording at times like "diversity candidate". Been around for a cool minute now

Let’s lay it out there. Sparks is looking for a female “coach” I.e just graduated regional level college runner who has good handwriting, can learn how to use a multi-function stopwatch, and has an extensive background in making IG reels/stories so she can post the teams workouts and meet day shenanigans. Can’t wait to see who they’ve selected.

Nah....Just means it is a BS posting, just to say they posted for the position. It was only open for a two days.

Paul Reneau was let go as an assistant coach at Montana soon after Doug Fraley was hired as the director of the track and field program in August.

It is pretty clear this new head coach decided to coach the sprints because he wanted to justify hiring his wife. So he fires the popular black sprints coach who is also an alum on his staff and then hires his wife directly after...to coach just the vertical jumps....while also not hiring a distance coach and having volunteers oversee the XC season.....how does blatant nepotism like this still happen and how does this not turn into a lawsuit? Future is looking real bright for this program...
