Gary, you aren't right about anything. The indictment actually does NOT say that no Americans were involved in the meddling. It just says this particular indictment doesn't name any Americans. Good grief. You are so uninformed.

Gary has twisted logic double standards. When it comes to Trump, investigations are to yield results before the investigation concludes otherwise it’s a witch hunt, but when it comes to Dems the government must spend millions and have numerous investigations and even after they are legally cleared they should be presumed guilty as long as conspiracy theorists continue to blog about it. That’s his definition of a functioning democracy.

I think it’s pretty clear the direction this is heading. It’ll be interesting in the next few weeks to see how GOP members of Congress react. Also, keep an eye on Paul Ryan...if everything goes down before fall he could be #46–might have to recuse himself due to the impeachment proceedings? Not sure but if so say hello to POTUS Pompeo.

I wonder what Putin has on Trump, because he clearly does have something very bad. Or at least bad in the mind of Trump. My guess? Probably financial crimes but what Trump really doesn’t want to come out is that he is not nearly as rich as he says. That’d kill his oversized ego. That, and the Russians probably have some really bad dirt on Trumps kids. I think that’s his other big Achilles heel.

Trumpers are such fools. They spent all morning defending Trump. Claiming how it was the right decision to defend Russia. Trump is a "stable" genius and played Putin for a clown. . . . And then Trump capitulates later in the day when he is thrashed by everyone--well, except Sean Hannity.

So after defending Trump what will Trumpers do now? They have no choice to admit either they made a grave mistake. Or that Trump made a grave mistake. It has to be one of the two.

You’re right on substance, but with those Trump fools, logic and anything remotely resembling rational thinking left the barn a long time ago. They’re too invested in the idiotic idea that Trump is a straight shooter who tells it like it is to be able to disavow it now - no matter what he does or what the consequences are. They would absolutely prefer that the country go down the toilet than for Trump to suffer any kind of downfall. Hell, most of them would disavow their own mother before they would abandon Daddy Trump. It’s beyond pathetic, but what can you do to reason with that kind of mentality? Basically nothing. We just have to hope that enough of the people who reluctantly voted for him will come to their senses for us to be able to turn things around in the next couple of election cycles. And this is from someone who is not a Democrat, and not even particularly liberal. I am just hoping that we, as a country, haven’t sunk so far into imbecility that we will never find our way back to rationality.
