Could be much simpler than that. Could be that someone else did the running to record the data, in whole or in part. It's not like Mimi has any reliable heart rate data and there is no discernable cadence signature you can derive from her data anyways.

Sandy ~ 60 miles (stopped and got a ride to the RV parking place)

Mimi just short of 49 miles (she is still running as of 5:30 PM - 50 miles)

Could be but do you think that is actually what happened? Or could she have slowed up because she has run over 1000 miles?

That could be. It would explain why she runs for so much longer now. She is trying to match the previous miles per day pace and cannot do it in the same amount of time.

As of 6:00 PM

Mimi is still running with 51-52 miles done. It is 8:00 PM in Missouri.

At 6:20 PM

Mimi ended the day with 52-53 miles.

Total Day: 15:20 (3:00 AM start time)

Mimi got a car ride to a point that would have been 57-58 miles for the day. There were no good places between where she stopped and where the RV was to find a closer place. So, it looks like the plan was for 57-58 miles and she fell ~5 miles short of her goal.

If Sandy averages 60 miles per day as she has been and Mimi averages 50 miles per day they will both finish is 53 days.

And imagine how close they would be if they were running the same route. That would have been something to see. I wonder what went into Marina's thought process to take a much shorter path than Pete.

It looks like Mimi's and the RV tried four different places to park for the night. The end of day ride Garmin is very odd. After more than 20 minutes of looking around they finally stopped at a gas station at 8:52 PM Missouri time. The run tomorrow should start at 5 am as Mimi has been good for. She has 8 hours to eat, clean up, sleep, get ready and start the run tomorrow. Maybe 7 hours of actual sleep at the best.
