I think both scenarios are possible but it’s more likely Putin will lie and say they didn’t intervene in our elections. Trump is unable to separate his ego from the election so I don’t think he’s eager to acknowledge what everyone else (except his mentally deficient base) knows—that the Russians tried bigly to sway the election away from Clinton.

It’s impossible to say with any certainty whether the Russians efforts where the difference in the election but this is a subtle point that requires critical thinking skills that Trump lacks. So, he simply reacts with emotion in the face of overwhelming evidence that Russia was meddling in our internal affairs—because if that were true in his mind it might mean he didn’t actually win legitimately. The mere suggestion of that causes such cognitive dissonance in Trumps pea brain that his head might actually explode.

But, Maskirovka, your point is well taken. IF the scenario you described played out Trump’s base would eat it up and not second guess anything Trump & Putin agreed to. They would also LOVE to blame Obama and Clinton for, well, any problem in the world—that is, after all, the only real reason they support Trump. It matters not if Trump’s policies and actions hurt the country or even them personally. All that matters is that Trump is sticking to the BUTTHURT libs and is making them mad. It’s really the most well thought out political position in modern US history!

I am not putting a percentage on that, but I do not believe he will finish his first term...could be due to Mueller or the Southern District of New York or who knows what else at this point. I want justice first and foremost, so if it takes Mueller longer than I expect to nail him, then I am fine with that.

Also, when it is proven that Trump and or anyone in his campaign colluded with Russia to help him win, I will also have been proven right about the 2016 election (because I stated that he can't win by cheating OR if aliens came down here and made us vote for him).

He didn't put any qualifications on it. He guaranteed it. As many have said, he started backpedaling soon afterwards. He's what he calls Trump, a lying coward.

It is probably more accurate to say that you were not wrong as opposed to being right (if "it is proven that Trump and or anyone in his campaign colluded with Russia to help him win"). If that happens it will not be the case that you predicted anything correctly - only that the conditions under which your prediction of a Clinton win would have been valid were not in effect and therefore your prediction could not be validly tested.

It is the same as if I predict a "6" on the next roll of this die but then said die spontaneously combusts without ever being rolled again. My prediction was neither correct nor wrong. The test of the prediction was never performed.

There is NOTHING that Russia did or didn't do for either candidate to control or change how someone voted OR how someone was "going to vote", except maybe you. Grasping for straws is not a strong enough term to describe the idiocy in that theory.

Hey flagpole, your favorite channels cnn and msnbc are doing horrible in the ratings. MSNBC lost to HGTV and Fox News while cnn lost to a slew of channels including the weather and hallmark channel. This is where you rely on for your news. What’s up with that?
