If this had been a criminal case it would not have been complicated as it would never have started so incomplete was the evidence.
From not knowing about the chain of custody to no calibration and onwards to hacksawing the sample bottle the case was riddled with errors to the point that labs would have been closed and heads rolling.
But most involved got honours from Queen and or very significant promotions and not removed.

Dr Davies who did Edwards scientific report was working for a company who made the scientific machines was told Don’t get involved with this case If your order does not get cancelled .I Fortunately for Edwards’sSimon Davis boss just laugh.

However if you really try to read it then you should be appalled by the blackmail tactics that are presented.

If Paul’s current communication and organizational skills matched his former level of athleticism he would have been cleared by now. That is what is most disturbing with this case; the system failed the person it was designed to protect and has continued to do so for such a length of time that the embarrassment and consequences of admitting the truth is simply too great for anyone that isn’t lying on their death bed. Even then most men worry about their “legacy” too much to set the record straight if it makes them look bad. The egos involved with the cover up are too big to admit the truth about a man they never see in their day-to-day life. Eventually the closet will open and the skeleton that is Paul Edwards’s truth will be exposed.

Uk Sport have ended the year by announcing they have been very successful in getting the National Governing Bodies to be transparent and open. They claim that they themselves lead the way .
Leaving asside how this is not Goverment interference in the running of sport (IOC Rules), my point is to ask if 2018 will bring UKS to be open and transparent in the Edwards case of cover up and misjustice and cause his ban to be revoked.

I fear that total transparency would lead to several very high up heads rolling so they will all keep stumm for as long as they can, preferably forever as far as they and their legal briefs are concerned. We need a hero - either a senior whistleblower or a powerful campaigner of the Reginald Bosanquet calibre.
We can dismiss silly posts like the ones from UK Athletics coach. There simply was zero credible test data against Paul so there was no case to answer. If this had been a police case it would have been thrown out immediately on the grounds of " no evidence".

There are many significant and very high profile administrators who have knowingly worked together to ensure that justice has been denied.
Many of these are involved in policing the Russian doping developments and the irony of this will not have escaped Mr Putin.
I would think that at a minimum Scotland Yard will have to re open this case.

It is now becoming accepted that the testers are held responsible for their mistakes.

They get involved on the Oregon Project but nothing when it could be the testing authorities seem to have made fatal errors.
