The wind gauges at historic hayward field are full of shit. Daytime wind speeds in Eugene average well over 10mph, i.e. over 4 m/s. It may not register wherever the gauges are, but the wind is always there on the track. Run the backstretch and see for yourself.

Fingers crossed for a big race from Knight, if Campbell's achilles is still in rough shape then I say Justyn has a very good shot at top 3. If the pace slows enough (i.e. 13:50 - 14+ minutes winning time) then Knight's leg speed may be enough to take down Jenkins.
That being said, Kirubel Eressa is defintiely a contender for top 3 as well. Only a 13:45 SB but his PB from last year is 7 seconds faster than Knight's, and this year has run 3:39.05 for 1500 (also faster than Knight).
