I won’t even watch! Some teams got refused visas and I know a whole team that got refused entry despite having visas. What a shame! Having this championships in US was a bad idea!!
Buh-bye. Don’t let the door hit ya’ where the good Lord split ya’!
Your papers must be in order to compete. No Age Cheating allowed.
How can a senior age cheat? Rodrigue Kwizera has been dominating the circuit in Europe, how is that fair to refuse a whole team an entry when they have visas?
The idea for this course was cool in concept, but the obstacle sections are pretty weak. It's just a glorified flat course. I feel like mud runs put in more effort. Why is the mud section not re-tilled before the next race? The soft sand is also only like 50m and the water section is a joke. The hill is the only legit obstacle.
Honestly, I have found the broadcast pretty boring. The NCAA meet is typically pretty exciting, but this has not been very well presented, doesn’t help we just see drone shots of Negtich running alone and not much more.
The commentator said “Edna kurgat first non-African” lol Congrats to the Aussie Ryan for being the actual first non-African. Great championship from the Australians.
The mud 'everglades' section of the course looks like it has dried out and has now packed down from all the previous races so it is only smoother dirt.
The course has other Florida features like the water/ocean, sand/beach and alligator/log sections. The change in the mud/everglade feature mirrors another significant aspect of Florida-destroying/drying out swamps and wetlands to make them more suitable for human habitation and use.
They should have added more water to the mud, as it is no longer an obstacle.
